I have my freedom! Tiscali, after spending two months unable to connect me, have released me from my contract without charge (I think that’s company-speak for "sorry, we fucked up quite badly there didn’t we?" I’m convinced the customer service guy muttered "shit" under his breath as he read through my case notes, which I thought was quite funny). Admittedly, I now have to wait another month for someone else to connect me, but I have slightly more confidence that I will actually be connected before Christmas.


We’ll see.
