Bagelmouse vs the Knotweed

I have Japanese Knotweed in my garden. Big wow, you might say. But no, wait, this stuff is frickin’ evil. It grows to 15 feet high, it grows through anything (concrete, brickwork… you name it) and it multiplies like hell. And it’s really hard to kill. But it’s knocking down a wall and coming up in my flowerbeds so Bagelmouse is on a mission! Nothing angers the Bagel! I’ve got some pretty nasty concentrated weedkiller and have spent the afternoon painting it onto the leaves. Apparently this works; it should take the weedkiller down into the root system. I’ll probably have to do it again this summer, and for the next few years. I don’t care. Like I said, I’m on a mission.

You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry…
