It turns out that my brain has two very distinct settings. One is the full-on prose mode, where I can spaf out a lengthy post with joy and abandon every other day. The other setting, which has made itself known this last week, is the setting that only works for conjuring random and/or (possibly) witty one-liners beginning "[Bagelmouse] is…" for Facebook updates.

I do not know why this should be. All I know is that the part of my brain that usually holds two or three blog posts at once, quietly fizzing away until they appear on this august page, has been taken over by possible status updates. I’m not inventing my status updates – I want to make that absolutely clear – but at any one time I can choose from about six.

Which is really fucking stupid.

But if it’s one or the other, maybe it’s time I asked Pete to add my Facebook to Feed Me, and hope I don’t pwn it again.

Yet another reason why Facebook is evil – it inhibits your writing ability and makes you dumb your thoughts down into snappy one-liners.

Nah, sometimes my brain dumbs itself down and all it can do is write (vaguely) snappy one-liners…

Cheers! You can take me off if I start to go mental on both at any point.
