Investigative journalism at its peak

BBC News: "The co-founder of cosmetics retailer Lush has been revealed as a
fundraiser for the climate change protesters that closed Stansted
Airport on Monday."
"Revealed"? You mean the way they say on their website that Plane Stupid is one of the beneficiaries from sales of moisturiser Charity Pot? (That's all proceeds minus VAT by the way; none of this 'after costs and profits' stuff.) And how they mention it in Lush Times? And how some of the pots have Plane Stupid stickers on the lids? Crikey, that's a reveal indeed! How many reporters did the Beeb send undercover to get that scoop?
I'm not a huge fan of Plane Stupid. I think their hearts are in the right place but their actions can be a bit childish. But there are some other really lovely charities like the Kipungani Schools Trust in Kenya, Sumatran Orangutan Society, Dorset Wildlife Trust and Transport 2000. And Charity Pot smells of cocoa butter and holidays and when I get a job it's going to be the first thing I start buying again. (Second thing: professional hair colouring.) Perhaps, with my incredible reportage skills the BBC would employ me?
