No shit, mate

Mark Tanzer, chief executive of Abta, the travel association, said: "While most flights are back to normal, and most stranded British passengers will be back this weekend, there is still quite a high level of disruption in some destinations. In some areas of the world there is a significant lack of air capacity to enable British people to be returned quickly."

*sigh* I'll be back at Heathrow at 6pm on Thursday.

By the time I get back it’ll have been 10 days. I was supposed to land at Heathrow at 8am on the 19th.

By the way, with all the British Airways shit hitting the fan, I feel the need to point out that I did check Etihad’s online booking system, and all their flights before Thursday were showing as unavailable. I do think they’re doing everything they can to get me home.
